A video that went viral on social media of a cat getting her paw stuck in a drawer while her owner almost didn't notice has melted hearts all over the internet.
The cat's owner posted the video to TikTok in January under the username Konkykong. In it, you can see the cat struggling to get her paw out of the drawer while her owner films her
As soon as the owner realises that her furbaby is in trouble, she rushes to help her.
As the owner opens her desk drawer to let the cat out, a drawing catches their eye.
The caption for the post says, "Thought I'd get a cute video of her opening the drawer..." After that: "She was stuck, it turned out. she's all good now haha."
Fetch by Web MD says that cats like drawers because they are fun places to hide and because they feel safe in small spaces. However, cats can easily get stuck and hurt while trying to hide in drawers.
They say you should keep your drawers closed as much as possible, and if you find one open, you should make a loud noise to scare them away.
The video has already been watched over 5.4 million times and liked over 880,000 times by animal lovers from all over the platform.
