NASA and SpaceX will launch Crew-6 to the International Space Station on Monday, February 27. The launch was originally planned on February 26.
NASA and SpaceX officials, together with foreign partners, assembled at the agency's Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the Crew-6 mission's Flight Readiness Review.
At 1:45 a.m. EST, Crew-6 will launch on the Endeavour-named SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft, propelled by the company's Falcon 9 rocket.
Endeavour has already transported humans to the space station on NASA's Crew-1, Inspiration4, and Axiom Mission-1 missions.
The launch of the SpaceX Crew-6 mission will be shown live on NASA TV and the agency's website at 10:00 p.m. EDT. Sunday, Feb. 26.
The SpaceX Crew-6 mission will transport four astronauts to the microgravity laboratory: NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg, who will serve as mission commander and pilot,
Along with UAE (United Arab Emirates) astronaut Sultan Alneyadi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev, who will serve as mission specialists.
The crew will remain aboard the space station for up to six months before returning to Earth.
During their time aboard the space station, the crew will conduct crucial scientific missions designed to further human space exploration and enhance life on Earth.
