Labrador Retriever

Frei complained that the hairstyle misrepresents poodles. “They're great athletic dogs—I'd have a poodle in a minute,” he said.

Bulldog

According to Frei, over 40 American schools and universities have bulldog mascots. Bulldogs are also popular pets. 

Beagle

Beagles adore people but follow their powerful noses anywhere, which makes them good at detecting out contraband at customs checkpoints and bedbugs in hotels.

Rottweiler

Frei calls rottweilers "the middle linebacker of dogs" and loves them. He added that before adopting a dog, you should know its temperament and training demands.
